1st July 2016

Saturday

Today we visited Heaven. Well, a hotter version of Heaven. Texas has some of the most beautiful wildflowers I have ever seen. I have two people in my life (Samantha & Margie) that I know would have loved it as much if not more than I did. And I wish with all my heart they were there with us.

To be honest there are not real words for the beauty. So instead this post will mostly be pictures so you can have a better idea of what heaven will look like.

I hope you enjoy them as much as we did exploring the world’s largest wildflower farm (over 200 acres).

Best ice cream I have ever had. And was much needed on this hot day.

I have never seen hummingbirds before, and they just played up for the camera.

After our visit to ‘Wildseed Farm’, we hit the road to head out to San Marco. We stopped on the side of the road to pick up some Texan peaches. I don’t ever remember eating a peach so juicy and sweet. They are amazing. I have a whole bag to enjoy.

We also booked into Round Rock for the fourth of July. It’s a little place just outside of Austin. We will be there a few days so we are going to do some day trips out to some of the beautiful watering holes around the area. Cannot wait to get my feet wet. It’s been pretty damn hot over here. So will be needing to put on some swimmers soon.

Need to get some rest now so I will write again soon.
